CTLS Grants 

A programme of excellence!

Every year since 2008, 14 students from the Faculty of Law at the University of Freiburg have been studyingat the Center for Transnational Legal Studies (CTLS) in London together with other students from 24 other universities. There, they study in English and with an innovative comparative approach to topics presented by law professors from the founding universities (of which the University of Freiburg is one), who are guests for one or two semesters.

For the period 2024 - 2028

The University of Fribourg is looking for donors who are interested in supporting the CTLS programme and the participation of students from the University of Fribourg. The University of Fribourg is the only Swiss university participating in the CTLS programme.

The University of Fribourg and the Faculty of Law undertake to 

• Organise an annual opportunity for a meeting between the students and the donors. In Switzerland, London or elsewhere, at the end of the academic semester.
• Provide excellent visibility for the donors.
• Provide a student report at the end of the semester.
